The house is the perfect place to enjoy some calm and quiet and therefore eschews TV for a little Japanese garden and a karaoke machine in probably the world's smallest "disco". There is an open-kitchen, a dining area, a bedroom, a living room, a tatami area, and 2 toilets. When you enter the entrance, there is a tea set from Tom Sach “Tea Ceremony” collection and a Sento (Japanese public bath) inspired bathroom with oversized Hinoki wood bathtub and tile painting by Masumi Ishikawa (Ukiyoe artist). A traditional Irori (charcoal firepit) and Tatami mattress are a nod to Japanese hospitality. The minibar features carefully selected local as well as homemade goodies.
